I am a PhD candidate in Management at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. I have completed all requirements of my degree except for my dissertation, which I will defend shortly. My coursework has focused on organizational behavior/human resources, consumer behavior/marketing, and statistics and research methods. I'm a social psychologist working in a Business school.

Volunteerism is a personal and academic passion of mine. Presently I serve on the Poverty to Possibility Community Investment Committee, the Strategic Growth Committee, and as past chair of the BeCause Initiative at the United Way of Calgary and Area. I also serve as one of United Way's Impact Speakers and as a member of the Promotion Committee at the Calgary Stampede.

Research Interests:
Pro-social (e.g., volunteering and charitable donations) and sustainable (e.g., recycling, conservation) consumer behavior; motivation; the impact social justice and fairness on decision-making; and corporate social responsibility and community investment.

Community Interests:
I support initiatives that meaningfully improve the lives and livelihoods of individuals and families, and that in so doing create resillient and vibrant communities. I also have a soft spot for social and environmental sustainability.
